Being Different for Jesus

I Peter 1:15-16. As the one who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written, Be holy, because I am holy.

What does different mean?
Distinct, separate, not the same, out of the ordinary, unusual

How do we become different, it means we:

  1. Think differently (V13) minds that are alert and fully sober- set your hope on grace- nothing is impossible with God

  2. Live differently (V 17) live with reverent fear - respect others

  3. Love differently (V22) since you have purified your souls by obedience in the truth through the spirit in sincere love of the brethren- love one another fervently with a pure heart

  4. It mean we talk differently (V 21) rid your heart of malice and deceit, hypocrisy \,envy, and slander
