Love, The Most Excellent Way
I Corinthians 12:31; 13:13

It’s not just about the gifts God gave you or your talents,

Love is everything - without we are nothing. V 1-5
Love is detailed v- 4-7. John 13:34-35
a. Patient and kind
b. Does not envy
c. Does not boast V4
d. Is selfless V -5
e. Not resentful V7
f. Does not rejoice in wrong doing (evil)- we rejoice in truth!

3. Love is eternal V8 -10 We have faith and hope!

4. The greatest of these is LOVE! 13:13

Open the Door!
Rev 3: 14-20

They were no longer operating under God’s authority- V 15
They were no longer burning with passion- V 16 faith that fizzles before before the finish
They were mistaken in their position- V17- 18- they didn’t need anything
They were blinded to their spiritual position -V19
They were given a wonderful invitation -V 20

Breaking the Cycle
1. Take the fight to the negative thoughts - 2 Cor 10:5
2. Stay grounded in God -Is 26:3
3. Do not let anxiety win - Phil 4: 6-7
4. Focus on what is true and positive Phil 4:8 - think on such things
5. God is always there waiting to catch you - I Peter 5:7

How to Pray Through Your Problems

Pray in Jesus Name -V 13-14 “in the name of the Lord”
suffering means to suffer misfortune, to be in distress, (physical or emotional) When under tension, you have two choices - swear or prayer
Pray in faith - V 15-16. While it is always in God’s POWER to heal, but it is not always His PURPOSE. (We don’t always understand his purpose)
Pray earnestly -V16-18 earnestly is also translated fervently. Strength in prayer is better than length in prayer
Pray for forgiveness- V 19-20
