Treasures of the Wasted Life

Philippians 3:4-9

Paul said.

1. I have an unbelievable Family Heritage. Some people believe their heritage will save them

2. I have Social Status. Being from the tribe of Benjamin is like being an aristocrat(very wealthy and important person). The first king came from the tribe of Benjamin.

3. I have great Biblical Knowledge. Pharisees were looked up to because of their knowledge of the Old Testament.

4. I do a lot of Religious Activity.

5. I live a Moral Lifestyle. He obeys the 10 commandments.

All this is not going to get you to heaven!!!! It doesn’t mean a thing if you don’t have God!!!!

More Than a Promise

Philippians 4:19

1. We Have an Almighty Source.-“But my God...” Our source is God. Not only Do you know Him but Do you have Him? This is a personal experience. Does He direct your path?

2. We Have a Glorious Certainty.-“shall” The Bible says shall!!! He shall do it! Not maybe do it. It SHALL come to pass.

3. We Have an Unlimited Sufficiency. -“Supply all your need” Sometimes we think we need money to pay a bill but God knows what we really need. Maybe we just need some peace and quiet time.

4. We Have an Infinite Supply. -“According to His riches in glory” God’s supply is unlimited.

5. We Have a Wonderful Savior.-“By Christ Jesus”

Set free.....Live free

Galatians 5:1-10

1. Religious Activity on its own is of No Value. Vs. 6 “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value.”

2. Faith is the Starting Point, and love expressed is the outcome. Vs 6 “The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.”

3. Distractions will always be there. Vs.7 “you were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth.”

4. Stand firm and allow God to remove the distractions. Vs 1 “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free, stand firm, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”

Marks of An Immature Christian

1 Corinthians 3:1-4

Maturity has nothing to do with age, or belief, or worship, or being in church.

So many Christians are frozen in spiritual immaturity. They are easily offended, often distracted and without prayer or spiritual discipline. We think God is requiring of us simply to hang on, yet the Lord is looking for mature Christlikeness to emerge within us. He feeds us with his Spirit and word that we might have every resource with need to obtain His very life and character. He baptizes us in fire that He might create proven character within us. He is relentless with His goal, expecting we should be also. Francis Frangipane

1. Immature Christians lack Productivity.

The church is not the preacher or the staff and a mature Christian gets that.

Immature Christians don’t tithe, pray, remember bible verses

2. Immature Christians lack Purpose.

Immature Christians don’t believe in the church. They don’t see the purpose of the church. Which is soul winning, love, forgiveness.

3. Immature Christians lack Peace.

Immature Christians are jealous, have worry, have no hope, have strife, and have division.

4. Immature Christians lack Proof.

There is not proof that you are a Christian. You look like any other worldly person.
